Fosroc Concure WB White Water-Based Curing Compound for Concrete (20 Ltr)
Some concrete you simply can't water-cure. You can't keep a column, a chimney, a canal lining or a sloping bridge deck wet for days, and ponding a pavement or a runway across that area isn't realistic either. Leave those surfaces to dry out on their own and the concrete cures unevenly, with shrinkage cracks and a soft, dusty finish. Fosroc Concure WB White is the curing compound for exactly those surfaces, sprayed on to hold the moisture in where water curing can't reach.
It's a water-based wax emulsion you spray onto the fresh concrete, or onto newly exposed concrete once the formwork comes off. It goes on white, so you can see your coverage and not miss a patch on a big pour, and it forms a continuous membrane that seals the mix water in for the whole curing period. One application does it, with no water, hessian or sand needed afterwards.
That makes it reliable on the jobs where curing usually gets compromised, large flat areas like pavements, runways and bridge decks, and the vertical and sloping work like towers, chimneys, columns, beams and canal linings. With the moisture held in, the cement hydrates properly, so the surface comes out hard-wearing with far less shrinkage cracking and dusting.
For concrete that's hard to water-cure, whether it's too big or standing upright, Fosroc Concure WB White is the spray-applied curing compound that covers it in one pass and holds the moisture where it's needed.
